My wife and I saw this on TV (DVR is a wonderful thing).
What made it so funny is that the skit seemed so innocent and crappy (an obvious reference to lame hip-hop "love" songs of the late 80's-early 90's) that we almost skipped over it.
The first "in a box" line just about rolled me out of the bed laughing and my wife too.
Now we will just see each other in some room of the house and do a "Step 1. Cut a hole in the box", complete with the finger making a circle in the air, and the other will then immediately do a "Step 2. Put your junk in that box." We almost pulled an oblique laughing at step 3's opening the box hand gestures.
Hand's down one of the best SNL's in recent memory (Hugh Laurie and Beck being another).

Exactly the comparison I would make. My wife was dying laughing upstairs watching it, and made me watch the Youtube one later.
