We should work on some custom vsays now.

I have a couple good ones in mind.

As do I. I think I have my pro mics here too, so I could potentially get started. What things do we want to have custom vsays for?

Are you talking about using commands like !givemebeer and hearing a sound, or what? Or mapping sounds to events like we did with the spree stuff?

We can already do that - but ETPub 9 adds what's called custom vsays, but I don't know how to configure it all up...

I think either would be cool. I like the death spree sounds we have now (the will ferrell ones, as I am a fan). We could re-do the needle spree sounds, and that kind of stuff.

In other servers if you hit V you get the default list of vsays, but there is also a custom line in there that you can do. Thats what im talking about.

I think we should leave the regular ones alone.

hmmm......I thought that was a Jaymod thing......maybe that is what they mean by adding that custom vsays to etpub 9. Basically, we can't really do it now, other than with command keys (which we had for a few months but they got removed cause the DL was too big).

But I love the sounds, even if the DL is big. I think it make the game fricken hilarious when people pull them out at the right time

Agreed. it's a good thing, lets upgrade and get some "hawt nu audioz".
