I still think we need to put Bonzai needles. It's always hilarious and it's not that often that people get needled. Needling somebody deserves that kind of recognition.

Perhaps this thread deserves a spin-off to discuss alternates to the default ET sounds? I would love to add input about new weapon sounds, goomba, knifing, etc noises.

yeah but then u would have ppl trying to needle increasing the amount tenfold.

The bonzai needles were annoying. We should make our own custom sounds for stuff.

I'm with Sin here - let's do custom sounds. I can accurately replicate the spree notifications if we need. That way we could have custom notification sounds that are similar to the stock ones but funnier

What are Bonzai needles?

If I can find them, I have a DAMN funny set of movie quotes that would be fuckin perfect (and hilarious) for the various spree events. I think we should go that way - and these files - small mono low bit-rate files, so we're not talkin about huge WAV files here or anything - this dl should be pretty minimal, but LOL when you hear them.

in the mean time can we get the normal ones up and running, after we test and vote for our favorite custom sounds we can replace.

They're in place now. Hard to test though since I can't really do a spree (other than /kill spree, which does work) by myself.

So - should get a brief DL - please test it and make sure it works alright. I did it on both of my PCs and it was all good.

Added sounds for knife kill (the goat) and a gagging sound for needle kill (couldn't find banzaii, sorry).

but most of the spree sounds are now on - I did not set one for 5, but just 10 and above. So hopefully it won't be spammy. Also, the first few are customs - but they can easily be changed without modifying the DL file by just changing the sound path in the config files.

ALso added sounds (all custom) for the spree end /kill, spree end tk, and spree end world kill. Don't have anything for enemy spree end kill.
