I think shell was having trouble with some of them playing. Maybe you could unzip the pk3 file and go through the folders and try and play all the various sounds to see if your computer can play them. I believe they're all 22Khz 16-bit Mono WAV (which is what ET requires) - but some of them may be 8-bit. That's the only reason I can think of why some work and others don't.

I heard them all, as did allagor, so something must be different in the way our system processes the WAV files.

Also, correct me if I'm wrong Shell but you did hear all the "standard" spree sounds like "double kill" etc...right?

Did you try listening to them outside of the game? extract the .pk3 file and then load them into whatever media player you have, see if they work there?
